Many of our courses can be adapted for in-house delivery and can be specifically tailored to meet individual needs.

Sometimes due to reasons beyond our control a course has to be cancelled or postponed.  We will advise nominating officers and applicants immediately of such a decision.  Please note in exceptional circumstances we may have to make changes at short notice to the content (to reflect changes in legislation, current thinking or topical issues), timing, speakers and/or venue.

The Shared Service Architect’s Programme is part of the national Postgraduate Certificate in Shared Services. Following the success of the taster session at the SW Councils Shared Service Conference in November 2011 we are putting on the programme in the region for Members and Officers who will be involved in shared service activity in 2012.

Day 1 provides updates on the regulations and technical issues that will impact on shared services projects during 2012.  Day 2 builds on this and provides 40 tools, techniques and templates for building trust and shared vision between partners in public sector shared services.

Attendance at this event will also give you:

  • Partial exemption from the first module of the Postgraduate Certificate in Shared Services (delivered by Canterbury Christ Church University)
  • Points towards Shared Service Practitioner status
  • 12 month subscription to The Shared Service Architext's Magazine
  • Reference material, notes and checklists
  • Access to the SSA online library of shared service documents

Aim:

A two day taught programme to build your skills as a shared service practitioner.
