Many of our courses can be adapted for in-house delivery and can be specifically tailored to meet individual needs.

A 2 hour workshop session for Councillors who want to make their public speaking effective with just the right impact, whether formal or informal

Aim:

An event to explore key aspects of public speaking

Content:

During this session, participants will consider:

  • Current approaches to preparing for, structuring and delivering short talks and presentations
  • Structuring and planning
  • The impact of non verbal behaviour, posture and voice
  • Managing pre-presentation nerves and anxiety
  • Expectations and needs of different types of audiences
  • Using suitable aids
